Our Scripps System-wide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports the entire Scripps Health system. As a member of the float team, you can fill vital roles on assignments throughout the system to provide critical coverage for employee’s leave of absences, sick calls, and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments.

Join our Scripps SSRS team as an EVS Tech where you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. This includes the following: Performs job functions to support environmental care: (Patient Care area cleaning, Non-Patient Care area cleaning, Linen Service, Waste Removal, Sharps container removal, Meeting/Event set-up/breakdown, and Infection Control/Sanitation utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor. Follows established policies and practices to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission, Title XXII and other applicable regulatory requirements. Displays and practices a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization.

This is a full-time position with varied shift and weekend availability required, must be able to work at all five Scripps locations.

• Six (6) months Housekeeping experience in Health Care or Hospitality
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

• One (1) year Housekeeping experience in Health Care or Hospitality

• Work between the five (5) Scripps Health hospital campuses: Encinitas, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, San Diego, and Chula Vista
