P/T Housekeeping Specialist.

SUMMARY: The Housekeeping Specialist is responsible for the routine cleanliness of the facility, in addition will assist in set-up, show care and clean-up of events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (including, but not limited to):

• Be a key player in keeping facilities clean & beautiful.
• Regularly check restroom cleanliness and supplies.
• Assist other department personnel as deemed necessary.
• Clean and set rooms in accordance with the Operation’s procedures.
• Adequately perform post-event cleanup and trash removal.
• Operate an assortment of equipment including: buffers/burnishers, rider sweepers/scrubbers, walk behind scrubbers, blowers, vacuums, snow removal equipment and others as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Work effectively in a service oriented environment subject to frequently changing priorities.
• Ability to respond calmly to public concerns; must be accountable and responsible.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• Employee will as needed operate various machines in cleaning and maintenance of building; employee will constantly communicate via radio and in-person with staff to exchange accurate information. Employee may frequently be required due to business demands and event operations to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

• The duties of this position are performed primarily indoors and occasionally outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate during non-event days and when not operating equipment and moderate to loud during event days when equipment is in operation.
