Warsaw Meadows Care Center seeking a Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant / Floor Porter for our skilled nursing facility in Warsaw, IN.

You will perform a variety of light cleaning and organizing duties.

Shifts Available:

• Full-Time
• Part-Time

Responsibilities:

• Follows housekeeping procedures
• Places soiled linen (facility or residents personal linen) in the washing machine
• Folds or hangs resident personal linen, transports, and distributes resident personal linen to the resident's room. Hangs clothes in the closet and places clothes in drawers.
• Work on industrial equipment like floor buffers, industrial floor washers, and fix small building problems, like leaky faucets or faulty light switches.
• Lift heavy objects and spend most of your time on your feet.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies and direct all ordering through manager/supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
• Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
