Novus Informatics, Inc. is currently looking for independent, creative, data-passionate, career driven individuals to join the team and help grow our organization. The position available is client-facing and data-centric, with a core objective of supporting different Supply Chain initiatives for our Clients. These include identifying opportunities to save money and make jobs easier, as well as assist in implementing systems and Supply Chain strategies. General Responsibilities
- Load files and datasets into the working SQL or other staging environments
- Assist in the design, development, implementation, and support of interfaces / integrations between systems within the Hospital and Supply Chain environment
- Train and provide support to users of novusreach®, including scheduling initial training sessions, updating user information, and managing user access.
- Build and maintain client relationships, providing a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
- Plan and implement Supply Chain optimization projects relating to the data and analytical aspects, interacting, and coordinating across multiple teams and multiple departments
- Build and Analyze datasets for Client Engagements
- Review and evaluate supply data cleanliness and areas required for improvement, such as item master units of measure and catalog number
- Map and match multiple datasets derived from multiple data sources, including facility, item, supplier, and manufacturer mapping
- Build and configure scripts based on pattern-based logic defined by Novus to integrate directly within the novusreach® Data Management platform
- Seek to improve and identify cost savings in all aspects of the Client’s supply chain department by reviewing current methodology and processes
- Identify and implement business rules and client requirements across datasets
- Design and implement methods to gather and manage supply chain data
- Issue standard and ad-hoc reporting for exercises including scorecards, KPIs, contract price discrepancy analysis, product conversion and standardization, par and inventory management, transactional discrepancy reconciliation, etc.
- Review and analyze gathered data to locate areas of opportunity in the supply chain process and develop methods to improve
- Work with Clients to collect relevant data to evaluate scope analyses for future engagements and initiatives
- Participate in, develop, and maintain solution process flows across multiple teams in and outside of Supply Chain
- Work with Novus Senior Management in developing financial reporting, forecast models, and cost accounting strategies
- Help define and develop Novus processes and operations to support business growth
- Explore new technologies and participate in road map development for Novus solutions both current and future
- Special projects and initiatives as discussed and agreed upon by Employee and Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned as needs or initiatives emerge to support both client and business growth
Requirements and Proficiencies
- 2-4 Years’ Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with SQL preferred (position requires often SQL utilization; Novus willing to train)
- High-level understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes (preferably in Healthcare)
- Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data, information and processes
- Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with clients, vendors and partners
- Previous experience with supply chain processes strongly preferred
- Experience working to improve all aspects of the supply chain by streamlining steps and locating the best prices for inventory
- Visual Analytics Concepts
