PRN Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice Potential to work to full time status.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, to develop a comprehensive plan of care to provide added support to patients and families in their homes.
• Apply a working knowledge of nursing theories and concepts.
• Responsible for care and documentation of care which meets reimbursement guidelines.
• Communicate with patients/families/care givers at all levels.
• This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes, physicians, nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains, complimentary therapists, and volunteers that specialize in end-of-life care.

Position Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of prior skilled Registered Nursing experience required.
• An active unencumbered state RN license
• Current driver's license and auto liability coverage
• CPR certification, a copy of TB Results, a copy of an updated physical
• High level of interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers
• Have a deep passion for patient and family teaching ( VistaRiver believes in making the patient and family the hero)
• Hospice experience preferred

Schedule:

• PRN*

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour

Medical Specialty:

• Geriatrics
• Home Health

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Registered Nurses: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN (Required)
