Homeland Security Grant Tracking System ( GTS) Specialist
Job Description: Scope of services
- We are in critical need of the services of a consultant for the NYC Grant Tracking System.
- This consultant is important to ensure the successful functionality of the City's centralized asset inventory system for grant funded equipment.
- This system is a federal requirement under the Homeland Security Grant program and keeps the City in compliance with federal and state regulations. Without this system the City would be at risk of non-compliance which can result in loss of grant funds.
- The selected consultant will work with NYC OMB, grant recipient agencies, and the vendor to maintain the asset inventory system.
- The consultant will be expected to work with agencies to train users on use of the system, work with the vendor to perform updates, enhancements and bug fixes.
- Additionally the consultant will work with OMB and the vendor to develop procedure manuals and training guides for users of the system.
- The selected consultant will be involved in overseeing work on a new and updated inventory system, currently under development.
- The consultant's exceptional technical expertise will be critical to properly implement current enhancements to GTS and the future developments of the system.
