Health Promotion Specialist Details

MILLENNIUM HEALTH & FITNESS INC. - Nellis AFB, NV

Employment Type : Full-Time

Specific Tasks: This Position is at Nellis AFB, NV. at

  • Assist with planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing all activities of the health promotion program, which may include but not limited to, wellness screenings, educational classes, incentive programs, and health fairs.
  • Perform services such as finger sticks and other biometric measurements including height, weight, BMI/body composition, and blood pressure screenings.
  • Educate participants on health awareness and lifestyle modification.
  • Maintain current knowledge of health promotion topics to keep health education program materiel current.
  • Coordinate and/or ensure that supplies, equipment, and files are maintained in properly secured storage accordance with provided guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the contractor Program Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Exercise Physiology, or related field.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in health and wellness field.
  • Current CPR/AED and first aid certification.
