Position Overview:
This role will own our technology portfolio and will synthesize market, client, product, and competitive inputs and partner with business, sales and marketing stakeholders to shape comprehensive go-to-market strategies that support brand and business objectives and drive the highest possible revenue for our technology business.
Core responsibilities will include the development of technology product positioning and messaging, launching and supporting our technology products in the market, and analyzing data and market insights to report results and refine strategies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Own our entire technology product portfolio – having a deep understanding of the products, the target audiences, and shaping definitive plans to connect the two
- Define the market opportunity, identifying client segments and buyer personas with the highest propensity to buy and derive the greatest value
- Proactively conduct market, stakeholder, and buyer research to inform strategy, messaging and go-to-market plans
- Collaborate with key business, sales and marketing stakeholders to develop product positioning and messaging that articulates a value proposition and product narratives
- Track competition and arm sellers with the effective tools to position our offering against the competition
- Write, socialize, and execute product positioning and sales playbooks
- Understand the buying and sales process to inform sales material development
- Develop revenue-driving go-to-market plans aligned with business/sales objectives and with defined success metrics tied to revenue
- Develop valuable content for internal and external use including sales collateral, case studies, FAQs, Talking Points, white papers, articles, etc.
- Own how our technologies are represented across all touchpoints (e.g. website, social, etc.)
- Develop content and training programs for internal awareness and education
- Lead product launch and communication planning with stakeholders from the business, sales, and marketing
- On an on-going basis, analyze in-market performance data to identify areas of opportunity to increase adoption of our products
- Track and measure the effectiveness and impact of all marketing activities
- This role will supervise others in the team
- Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8+ years experience in B2B Product Marketing or Product Management (experience in real estate finance or financial technology preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing and proven management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across many teams to achieve a common goal
- Lead and mentor junior colleagues
- Impeccable writing skills and storytelling, with ability to simplify complex information
- Innovative self-starter, not afraid to take risks
- Team player
- Thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- A “data enthusiast” who enjoys building, tracking and reporting on critical metrics that achieve big picture team goals.
- Organization skills, able to create & maintain project plans
- Excited by generating and adopting new ways of working
- Strong understanding of media channels and marketing technology landscape
- Experience working with and launching technology products (preferred)
- Salesforce.com/Hubspot experience (preferred)
