We are scaling a global digital freight forwarding business, developing a differentiated experience for importers, who want to be part of a supply chain for the e-commerce age.

In this context we are looking for a Head of Process Excellence, International Supply Chain (ISC).

What You’ll Do

As the Head of Process Excellence, International Supply Chain for Wayfair, you will be primarily responsible for:

• Building a high performing, dynamic team: Develop and manage a team that works closely with partners and is able to execute on our vision and implement function specific strategies in the context of rapid growth
• Developing and scaling our capabilities to further our vision to become a leading global digital freight forwarder
• Partnering with different operations teams to build scalable capabilities that enhance our ability to drive operational excellence and provide a superior customer experience
• Driving the agenda with tech counterparts to build state-of-the art global platforms and capabilities
• Doing rapid diagnostics on processes to then design and implement solutions that allow us to scale 2x within 12 months and 3-4x in 12-24 months
• Developing new processes across various parts of our operations from order management to origin and destination side operations as we scale and increase in complexity with new services, new lanes etc.
• Driving standardization across various processes
• Driving root cause analyses for exceptions across various parts of the value chain in international freight management and designing solutions.
• Developing the long term strategy for the process excellence function.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive relevant experience (5+ years), for instance in management consulting, process excellence or similar industries and/or e-commerce; familiarity with supply chain operations, logistics, or home-related industries is a plus
• Experience operating in a fast paced high growth environment is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a high growth, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment
• Proven track record of leadership, taking ownership, and driving results
• Ability to develop, articulate, and execute strategy
• Ability to pivot priorities as data-led insights evolve
• Prior experience in recruiting and building high performance teams
• Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic organization
• Comfort in technology-driven business environment
• Experience leading and building global cross-functional teams
