The Financial Institutions (FI) team is expanding our planning and strategy team to achieve both in-year growth targets and execute on our long-term strategic growth agenda. With this objective in mind, we are seeking an seasoned executive to lead the revenue operations and strategy function for this critical national business within Elavon.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse, geographically dispersed team responsible for conceiving, coordinating and supporting enterprise-wide initiatives to accelerate profitable growth across all aspects of the FI business. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in the merchant acquiring industry, ideally in positions of increasing responsibility ranging from quota carrying business developer through senior management. The individual will serve as a part of the FI leadership team and is expected to represent the business both within Elavon and across the industry.

Position Highlights

  • Operate the as the “connective tissue” between the FI revenue teams and the broader enterprise, providing resource management, enterprise coordination and governance in support of key enterprise-wide priorities.
  • Oversee the execution and delivery of FI targeted capital expenditure (capex) initiatives.
  • Partner closely with FI leadership to understand the partner specific challenges and opportunities and develop recommendations to support or exploit as required.
  • Work closely with leadership across Elavon to drive corporate growth initiatives, identify macro trends and support the overall strategic execution of the US business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Master’s Preferred)
  • 15+ years experience in the merchant acquiring industry with at least 5 years of experience leading teams

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Merchant Services industry, preferably in selling to or managing large and complex customers, with a conceptual knowledge of our fundamental practices, products and basic understanding of business operations
  • Entrepreneurial, commercially focused with high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and efficient with limited resources
  • Proven track record in performing well in fast paced environment; ability to handle multiple priorities and work aggressively to achieve results
  • Strong sense of urgency to push business forward within aggressive time-frames in support of the overall strategy and growth targets and ability to make critical decisions independently
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills in excel and other Microsoft office suite of applications
