Qualifications HS/GED 1+ years of experience Active TS/SCI Active CI polygraph Key Responsibilities Hardware Technician Responsible for providing installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware. Assesses user needs and can solve a range of problems. Provides installation of new equipment and performs equipment modifications or enhancements. Prepares and maintains documentation for processes for policies and procedures related to computer systems and operations. Performs technical tasks and assists with the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Provides installation and troubleshooting support of moderately complex issues for systems applications and related peripheral hardware. Provides incident response and performs customer support tasks. Deploys new hardware, software, and the upgrade of existing installations. Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedure related to computer systems and operations. Property/Asset Management Develops and implements system improvements, processes, and procedures and training necessary to manage and protect government and corporate property investments; supervises assigned staff. Ensures timely receipt, acquisition, identification, documentation, maintenance, inventory, movement, and storage of property. Ensures proper disposition of obsolete and excess assets. Participates in the taking of physical inventories and provides a quarterly inventory report. Ensures that periodic reviews are completed to verify that appropriate custodial organizations properly maintain and use property, and that records are properly maintained. Participate in deployment reviews to provide input on functional/system-level requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.16 - $31.74, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
