The Hanover is seeking to add a dynamic, skilled, and collaborative Program Implementation Consultant to join it's growing Hanover Programs' team. Hanover Programs has built one of the strongest program teams in the business. This role may be based out of Windsor, CT, Worcester, or fully remote with easy access to a large airport and office presence/travel as needed

Position Summary:
This role reports to the Programs Project Manager and manages the execution of operational initiatives within Hanover Programs to drive consistency and accountability throughout the business from project management, analysis to implementation of forms and form changes. Serves as the point person for collaboration and communication with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate various processes, procedures, and operational data in support of the business. Performs analysis of existing processes and leads projects of varying scale to maintain compliance & filings requirements, form development & updates, along with training and reporting. This professional will gather sufficient strategic, technical, and operational information from internal business units and external partners. In addition, this professional will incorporate internal and external best practices to recommend, design, and deliver process-based solutions and/or operational metrics.

This is a Full-time, Exempt role.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Maintain assigned Products for all Commercial Lines of business.
  • Manage individual/team accountability for process from analysis to implementation, monitoring and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Facilitates strategic working sessions and meetings; organizes and tracks action items for future follow-up.
  • Actively manages initiative scope, tasks, resources, and timelines to drive implementation of key priorities in an engaged, timely, effective, and collaborative manner.
  • Conducting project kickoff meetings, communicating individual roles and project expectations.
  • Creating and updating detailed project plans and schedules, applying best practices, standards, and recommended tools as needed.
  • Partners with internal programs team members along with support functions including Product/ BTS Leadership, Business Partners and IT Underwriting, Business Technology Services, Actuarial, and Compliance.
  • Support Filing & Regulatory Best Practices coordination, documentation, assessments, and improvement ideas.

Experience

  • 5+ years of Property & Casualty Underwriting, Regulatory/Compliance, or Product experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
  • In depth understanding of policy coverages, language, rating, and rules.
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
  • Operates creatively in situations with limited or ambiguous data.
  • Intellectually curious with problem-solving focus.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.
