Morningside Flight Park:, often considered one of the most complete flight parks in the country, sits among the Connecticut River Valley’s rolling hills in New Hampshire on land that must have been cosmically designed for hang gliding and paragliding:. We have been teaching people how to fly since the 1970s.

We are looking for hang-gliding instructors: to add to our team for the 2020 Season! Our hang gliding-instructor will conduct beginner and advanced beginner hang gliding lessons in a safe, education, and enthusiastic format, as well as supporting all other functions of the hang-gliding school.

Job Duties:

• Perform safe, quality instruction under moderate supervision.
• Perform routine repairs on equipment.
• Protect the safety of students and spectators.
• Abide by all rules set forth by the state park.
• Schedule flexibility.
• Attend clinics and meetings.
• Expected to improve flying skills as well as teaching skills (constantly).
• Promote teamwork and cooperation.
• Complete instructor training academy (including written and practical tests).
• Facilitate sales of lessons and equipment.
• Provide thorough, attentive instruction from the beginning of a lesson to the end.
• Report accidents to lead instructor.
• Prepare all training equipment for use on a daily basis. (including set up, preflight, test flight and breakdown).
• Exhibit good judgement and maturity.
• Instructors must be able to stay focused on students as they fly beside or away from them.
