The City of Kalamazoo Parks and Recreation department is looking for dependable and responsible individuals to work at Kik Pool for the 2022 Summer Season.This is seasonal/temporary employment.

Examples of Duties

• Open and close the guest service office each day, depending on schedule and hours
• Monitor and track current pool occupancy to ensure the pool is at or below the maximum bathers allowed
• Provide excellent customer service to guests
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in concession and party area
• Account for monies received; counts, sorts, and wraps money
• Counts and balances cash register daily receipts
• Assist with Party on Deck rentals
• Keep accurate inventory of stock
• Monitor weather reports closely to ensure safety of guests

Essential Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age, if 16-18 years old, must provide a work permit
• Must be available to work between June 1 - August 14

Acceptable Training and Experience

• Prior customer service experience preferred, but not required
