Griffis Residential Service Team Associates are hard working team players who genuinely care about delivering "It’s about you" customer service quality to our customers, residents, and guests. Qualified candidates will participate in daily community inspections and communicate findings to the Community and Service Manager.
Responsibilities:- Maintains community grounds, common areas, landscaping and surrounding areas in clean condition and good repair and make a positive first impression on customers and residents.
- Good customer service and interpersonal communication skills necessary to interact courteously with customers, residents, associates, and other business contacts.
- Immediately picks up litter including pet waste and cigarette butts, from any exterior and common areas.
- Performs light landscaping duties such as sprinkler adjustment, repair, trimming or trees and shrubs, replacement of sod, fertilizer and watering of plants as needed.
- Maintains all dumpster areas to ensure that trash is properly disposed of and that the surrounding areas are neat and clean. Routinely inspects these areas for rodents, ants, flies, and other pests and takes action to exterminate them.
- Cleans parking lot areas including curbs; removes oil spots, trash, leaves, dirt, etc. May be called upon to tag vehicles that are inoperable, bearing expired plates, flat tires, on blocks, and / or not parked in assigned / designated spaces.
- May assist the Service Manager and Technicians with minor maintenance and repair requirements.
- Removes snow and ice from all assigned areas and apply ice melt when necessary.
Qualifications:- At least one (1) year of customer service experience preferred.
- At least one (1) year of multifamily community maintenance or hospitality maintenance, experience preferred.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license – if not at time of employment, required within the first six (6) months of employment at Griffis Residential.
- Ability and willingness to work outside.
- Ability to occasional lift up to 75 pounds.
- The equivalent to a high school degree or higher preferred.
