The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the Camp-Resort’s countryside and landscaping, clearing away debris to keep the environment safe and secure. This is a full-time position and reports to the Facilities Manager.
WAGES STARTING AT $12.00 PER HOUR!
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Duties
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of the Camp-Resort’s property, and equipment
  • Respond to grounds requests promptly
  • General landscaping tasks such as:
    • Tree trimming and bush pruning
    • Lawn fertilization and weed control
    • Mowing lawns, including string-trimming, edging, and blowing
    • Perform seasonal yard cleanups, removing yard debris and leaves
• Other Essential Duties
  • Regularly update Facilities Manager on the status of the Resort’s grounds as a whole
  • Complete jobs within the guidelines of OSHA compliance standards
  • Participate in other projects and activities as assigned

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

• General grounds-keeping experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Work with minimal supervision

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Able to lift up to 80 lbs
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position
• Regularly move throughout the park
• Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
• Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
• Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
