Position: Grinder Reports to: Production Supervisor Position Summary: To safely remove scrap from shop floor, grind material and label gaylords. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABLILTIES: To observe all safety rules/regulations and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner. Receives daily work assignment from the Production Supervisor. Remove scrap product from shop. Grind all scrap material Label all gaylords with correct identification. Make accurate weight recordings on designated tags. Must be a certified forklift driver. SECONDARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Assist Extrusion Operators as needed. Keeps assigned work area clean, neat, organized and free from safety hazards. All other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Ability to speak and understand English. (OR Good Communication Skills. Must have the necessary skills to perform reading, writing and simple mathematics in English as required.) Must be motivated and possess a high attention to detail. QUALIFICATIONS: Prior manufacturing experience.
