HPE is looking for a GreenLake A&PS Business Development & Enablement Lead.


Designs and structures GreenLake sales plays and sales enablement with a focus on A&PS. Requires strong understanding of the as-a-service market and of the Advisory and Professional Services specifics. Strong project management skills are required to manage and orchestrate discussions with the relevant stakeholders. All deliverables and activities should be designed in such a way that it is 100% executable by the geos with a purpose to enable sales audiences to generate and win pipeline.

The role consists of providing, primarily the HPE Sales community, with the necessary knowledge and skills to position HPE GreenLake A&PS portfolio. Geo engagement and gathering feedback/ inputs from the geos when building deliverables is key. E2E collaboration with the A&PS team to provide GTM insights that are relevant to customer’s business outcome and to understand and anticipate service roadmaps and business priorities changes. Designs, implements, enables and drives A&PS Sales Plays to accelerate the adoption across geos. Works closely with the Sales and Presales teams within the GTM organization. Focuses on both content creation and leveraging existing A&PS programs/ assets/ initiatives as door openers to speed up sales cycles e.g. IGNITE workshops.
Designs Sales Enablement strategy in collaboration with the WW Enablement team. This translates into enablement plans, leading to the release of learning assets that fit into the sales enablement methods framework.
The enablement responsibility applies to the entire service life cycle from design and incubation, through introduction, evolution, and up to service retirement or obsolescence.
The successful candidate is accountable to create and maintain an active community of practice, leveraging community “tools”, like Yammer forums, champions groups etc.


  • Ensure the GreenLake Sales community is enabled and aware in a timely fashion on the A&PS new services introductions
  • Keep high level of consumption of enablement assets (e.g. sales plays, trainings, collateral), with a high-quality rating and high satisfaction rate based on dedicated surveys
  • Demonstrate business impact of enablement as much as possible
  • High level of engagement for the sales communities (forum activity, participants to calls…)

Responsibilities -

  • Define and deploy GreenLake sales readiness and training plans for new services, jointly with the A&PS Product Management team, also considering communication framework, follow-up guidelines, communities, and engagement process accountability;
  • Coordinate the development of high-quality A&PS sales specific trainings and collaterals
  • Set up and maintain a network of relations with relevant stakeholders in A&PS, GreenLake GTM Presales and Sales teams
  • Define enablement plans and supporting programs to generate incremental opportunities (e.g. adopting best practices, leverage references or use cases…).
  • Maintain a community of practice with focus on A&PS within GreenLake Sales
  • Act as a point of contact and reference for A&PS Sales resources
  • Leverage expertise and content from BU experts.
  • Collect feedback from sales teams and raise it to the attention of key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge Management: post and maintain all relevant information for HPE GreenLake Sales (e.g. trainings, collateral, roadmaps…) in easily accessible repositories, curated, maintained and organized based on the model of Infrastructure learning paths.
  • Analyze enablement assets usage, identify geo trends and coordinate activities to drive improvement

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Required -
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent. Masters preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the related field (Public, On-prem Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, XaaS, Consulting Services etc)
  • Experience and background within the Advisory & Professional Services organization in business management, sales or presales roles

Knowledge and Skills -
  • Excellent understanding of the XaaS market and consumption model
  • Cross-BU experience and geo experience
  • Excellent knowledge of the A&PS portfolio and offerings, ideally customer facing
  • Excellent understanding of customer industry/workloads/solution and its related trend
  • Strategic thinking/planning
  • Demonstrated ability to work as the lead for projects and initiatives
  • Excellent communication and data visualization skills.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong in teamwork and collaboration
