Your Opportunity We are seeking qualified applicants for a Graphic Designer within our Water Business Line Marketing group. Our team’s primary focus is winning work related to top, strategic water infrastructure projects, and to assist in marketing communication projects, and deliverables. Our visual designers work collaboratively within a team setting to design the most strategic proposals and marketing materials to support the company’s brand, image, and reputation. It’s a high-energy atmosphere and we work with technical people to translate their concepts into compelling visuals. Your Key Responsibilities In this role, the primary area of responsibility involves the design and preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications, including page layout composition; development of information design, such as infographics, figures, charts, illustrations, diagrams, etc). Our graphic designers work alongside marketers focused on strategic SOQs/proposals range from 15 to 350 pages and project fee values from $1 million to over $100 million. Staying up to date on innovative and creative ways for digital submittals, on-site (or off-site) printing; management and assembly of proposals, presentations and qualification packages, including Standard Forms is part of what we do as a team. The secondary area is oral presentations. A thorough understanding of various communication delivery methods and techniques is important. For oral presentations we often work directly with the client to create complex PowerPoint presentations involving animation, video or other high-level visual design as well as printed material or other visual aids. Typical techniques we use in planning for these presentations includes live sketching, storyboarding, and generating thumbnail roughs, during client interaction,¬ using whiteboard and/or digital formats. An understanding to teams, zoom and other collaboration platforms is essential.
