SUMMARY: The Office Manager for the Grain Elevator at Bay, AR is responsible for managing all aspects of record keeping for contracting, pricing, adjusting, receiving, shipping, settlement and payment for the procurement, storage and delivery of high quality feed grains to elevators and feed mills in Eastern, AR. The position will have general oversight of all staff and activities affecting the accuracy and timeliness of these records. The Office Manager is also responsible for working with the local farm community to facilitate records in the most effective manner possible. The role coordinates with corporate and local facilities to maintain timeliness and accuracy. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible for writing, adjusting, and pricing grain contracts. Responsible for maintaining Daily Position Reports for multiple locations. Be proficient in maintaining accurate hedge accounts for all physical grain positions. Review and apply receipt and shipment tickets for multiple locations. Insure that receipt and delivery tickets match contract summaries. Audit and resolve all discrepancies in a timely manner. Process receipt and delivery tickets to contract summaries and authorize payments. Coordinate with multiple receipt and delivery locations to ensure timely product movement and accurate records. Maintain positive team environment with all personnel and the farm community that supports our industry. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Required Preferred Broad knowledge in a financial or agricultural field. Knowledge of merchandising practices and flexible contract pricing methods; understand the needs of the farmers and have the ability to work with a wide variety of customers, both internal and external.
