Our Central Washington Family Medicine Residency (CWFM-R) program is in search of a full-time Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Credentialing Coordinator to join our team in Yakima. The position is full-time with extended hours as required. The selected candidate will provide data management and reporting, record keeping and credentialing services for the Education Program including processing of resident licensing and credentialing/privileging applications, tracking of data and compilation of reports, maintenance of resident files and minutes of meetings.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Processes resident licensing and hospital credentialing/privileging applications.
- Maintains resident personnel files in both paper and online formats.
- Onboards new PGY1 residents. Downloads ERAS files into New Innovations, facilitates NPI registration, health clearances and other related tasks.
- Manages web-based data systems to create and track all evaluations, duty hours, procedure logs, portfolios, dashboards, milestones, onboarding, accreditation data and grant reports.
- Facilitates and tracks resident course and test registration such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), USMLE and COMLEX Step 3, ABFM and ACOFP In-Training exams, and ABFM and AOBFP Certification Exams.
- Coordinates and facilitates two ALSO courses annually, working with outside trainer and internal and external trainees.
- Works with the Faculty Didactics Coordinator to schedule and coordinate didactics and compile evaluations and attendance reports.
- Facilitates faculty annual evaluations.
- Compiles annual program evaluation.
- Tracks and coordinates completion of resident verification requests.
- Assists designated faculty with annual revision and distribution of resident handbook.
- Processes annual resident contracts.
- Prepares faculty meeting agendas and resident/faculty meeting agendas in conjunction with Chief Residents; creates calendar invites; distributes all meeting notices for follow up; and records meeting minutes.
- Manages the Medicare Intern and Resident Information System (IRIS) reporting for affiliate hospitals using New Innovations.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree and two (2) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Graduate Medical Education (GME) experience preferred
- Current driver’s license and auto insurance required
- Must have, or be able to obtain, Notary Public license
