The Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of the Orange County EHE activities. The Coordinator, will be responsible for coordination of project activities, support of project-specific meetings, and development and implementation of community engagement strategies. The Coordinator will work closely with all Area 7 department staff involved in the EHE planning and implementation as well as Florida community members, HIV prevention and care providers, and Orange County Ryan White Part A Office. Develop a comprehensive program of community engagement that includes the use of social media and other technologies to assure partnership with local communities most heavily impacted by HIV in the implementation of strategies and activities to end the HIV epidemic. Identify and invite additional stakeholders with extensive experience working with key populations to participate in EHE planning and implementation. Foster collaboration between the HIV/AIDS Section and the Statewide EHE committee through bi-monthly meetings. Provide technical assistance with community engagement and implementation to the local jurisdictions. Help to develop and implement a monitoring and evaluation plan. Host multiple town halls to engage affected stakeholders, including communities experiencing disparities and populations that have either not had access to HIV prevention and care programs. Recruit representatives of local partners to serve on the HIV and Healthcare Service Provider Workgroup including local, state, and federally funded healthcare partners. Convene up to six meetings of the HIV EHE Committee to review activities in EHE plan and to assess feasibility of programmatic implementation. Other duties as assigned.
