Job Description SummaryServe as a Global Clinical Leader for Premium CT product development programs, including next generation CT (photon counting CT). Become an internal advocate for the customer on how to best design the functionality and workflow of our future CT scanners and applications. Provide clinical guidance to engineering team to resolve existing customer issues, improve quality and customer experience, and influence on the future workflow and feature design decisions. Help the commercial and marketing team to highlight the clinical capabilities of GE Prem CT product and application vs. competition with clinical testimonials, image gallery, and unique clinical scenarios.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Clinical lead for new & existing NPI program on both the CT scanner that may include Oncology applications, Neurology applications, Cardiac Applications and Vascular applications. Understand engineering design decisions and provide user/clinical guidance to ensure optimal design decisions are made to maximize customer benefit during the program – workflow, IQ, etc.
- Serve as part of NPI program core team and produce required program documents
- Maintain strong connection with AW and Advanced applications team to fully understand their roadmap and interconnections to ensure Prem CT customers experience are optimized – e.g., IPM, IP, digital applications.
- Support marketing in translating clinical needs into product features and mapping features to clinical benefits. Host global meetings with region clinical apps team to ensure a constant feedback loop on released features, customer feedback and improvement opportunities. Act as clinical champion to regions to explain system/feature design rationale and potential benefits.
- Test and validate product to maintain high quality products before they are released
- Develop clinical agreements, work goals and feedback mechanisms for usability based clinical evaluation
- Work with upstream marketing to select high quality sites for clinical evaluation
- Provide support and training to clinical sites and acquire feedback from the site to improve the product.
- Manage clinical sites even after product launch for continued customer feedback and relationships. Actively participate, own, and help to resolve CSO’s and IFR90 issues that are related to customer clinical practice or usage of the system – offer mitigation and workarounds wherever possible. Own input to engineering/program team on prioritization of SPRs to fix in each program. Influence on SPR fix timing and prioritization for most important CSO and customer complaints. Become an internal advocate for customers.
- Develop training material for Field Application Specialist, Clinical Sales Specialists and Sales Specialist. Participate/lead in the training of the specialist.
- Provide support to downstream marketing for sales tools, collaterals, produce images for shows and presentations, and provide support at product shows.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Radiological Sciences or Radiological Technology
- At least 10 years experience with CT Scanners and image processing with CT Applications
- Willingness to live and work in the Greater Milwaukee area
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Imaging Physics related field
- Hands on experience with dual energy CT and cardiovascular CT applications
- Hands on experience with CT perfusion applications
- Strong quality orientation; Six Sigma Green Belt certified
- Experience in CT Imaging Technologies, GE and another vendor
- Strong customer focus and adaptability to changing demands and requirements
- Experience with user centered design concepts and their integration into product
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, and accountability for deliverables/actions
- Strong written and verbal communications skills demonstrated in the form of grants, publications and/or progress reports
- Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers in the healthcare industry and engineering and marketing organizations
- Ability to understand and speak technical language specific to CT technology and imaging technology, ability to read thru engineering design documents and work effectively with the engineering team
