General Production Worker Details

Track 7 Brewing Company - Sacramento, CA

Track 7 Brewing Company is looking for a hard-working, dedicated individual with a hop to it kinda attitude (pun intended!). This is a dynamic position with responsibilities across many brewery operations and is essential in helping us achieve our mission of crafting unique experiences one beer at a time.


The position is full time position and requires schedule flexibility, as Track 7’s production schedule varies from week to week. Below are additional details about the
position.


Summary:


This position is responsible for completing assigned daily tasks including but not limit to general warehousing activities, shipping and receiving, counting and recording inventory, and general cleaning of production areas. You have the very important role in our production process that requires adherence to high-quality standards and collaboration with all production staff to achieve production goals.


Duties and Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Assists in packaging products in a variety of formats including kegs, bottles, and cans.
  • Operating forklift to load and unload pallets of kegs, cans, bottles, and other brewing supplies.
  • Washing kegs.
  • Prepare pallet orders for pickup.
  • Organizing production supplies including grain, cans, bottles, kegs, pallets, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Organize cold storage.
  • General cleaning of all production areas.
  • Execute CIP process of packaging line.
  • Carbonate beer within allowable standards under the direction of the Head Brewer
  • Operate Zamboni in a safe manner in order to maintain clean production floors.
  • Operates production and warehouse equipment safely.
  • Performs light maintenance on equipment.
  • Works closely with Packaging and Warehousing Supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed satisfactorily on a daily basis.

Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variable in standardized situations.


Required Education and Experience


  • 1 year of experience operating equipment appropriate to position under field conditions, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Forklift operating experience.

Equipment:


Fork lift, pallet jack, canning line, bottling line, keg washer


Knowledge, Skills & Ability:


We are industrious at Track 7. This position requires a hard-working individual who is able to take direction well. This person needs to be able to communication and collaborate effectively with the entire production team and understand how each job directly affects others. They need time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks according to the needs of the production team. This person must have a flexible schedule and be able to work long, varied hours. Needs the ability to multitask, and work well under time sensitive situations.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
