Activities include selecting the most efficient transportation procedures according to cost, timing, and handling frame-work; establishing and monitoring product delivery schedules; tracking, recording and following-up shipments; managing relationships with transport contractors; loading, unloading and transporting products; and maintaining the vehicle and equipment fleet.RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONSBachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or related 10+ years of relevant transportation, distribution, operations, and fleet management experience 7+ years management or leadership experience highly preferred Exposure to lean and continuous improvement initiatives Strong analytical and negotiation skills
