Job Description
Leads the maintenance crew of resort villas and other buildings by performing the following duties.
DUTIES
Work closely with other departments to ensure proper coordination in regards to activities taking place in the resort.
Aids craftsman in scheduling work, ordering materials and completing assignments by a specific date.
Manage and maintain ongoing maintenance, work orders and villa maintenance program
Research and requisition tools, equipment and supplies needed by the engineering Department
Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
Interprets company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations
Track and coordinates projects with the area
Establishes or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crews
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
Maintains time and production records
Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have good command of English, both written and verbal. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals. Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence.
