This leadership role will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.What you will get to do: Perform as the Missile Deployment Manager for the deployment of the GBSD Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE). Candidate will be part of the Infrastructure and Deployment team (IDT) and responsible for the development, documentation, and execution of installation procedures for the GBSD system missile and associated hardware & software. Candidate will lead a team of installation professionals at various locations where AVE assets require installation. Candidate will, as needed, support System Test activities at various locations. The position requires technical knowledge of ICBM-class AVE components and associated support equipment. The selected candidate must lead a team to develop high quality, safe, installation procedures and implement these procedures at various test locations and the missile field. Candidate must also be able to effectively communicate complex technical issues and solutions. A successful track record of program performance, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience is highly desired.The position requires technical knowledge ICBM-class AVE components and associated support equipment. Salary Range: 121000 - 182000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
