Gas Utility Document Control with Cordoba Project Team or client under limited supervision for construction closeout documents, material procurement, budget/schedule support, field supporting services.

Scope of Work

  • Material Procurement support with facility, pipeline, station quotes, requisition/PO, coordination, material document control, MJR, invoicing, transfer forms, inspection
  • Field support with OQ and PCMRs, support Cordoba Project Manager or Project Engineer, coordinate with construction services or Gas/Electric Technical Services
  • Drawing review for conflict checks with gas pipelines, familiar with gas standards, resolve outside utility disturbances and construction issues
  • Support and facilitate all activities leading to the successful completion of tasks including, scoping, permitting, project governance, and design in support of high-pressure construction project closeout
  • Comply with Client project closeout (Bundle A/ Bundle B) policies and procedures
  • Reviews material traceability documentation and verifies that all construction documentation meets the specifications and requirements identified in Client Gas/Electric Standards
  • Support Client with the engineers (Design Drafting and Pipeline Design) project managers, and engineering firms to provide instruction and guidance related to designs/drawings and design data sheets (DDS) to verify material strength meets client’s requirements for pipe grade, wall thickness, and maximum operating pressures
  • Provides support to project managers and external engineering firms related to preparation of completion sketches/as-builts and survey data files
  • Reviews engineering designs/drawings, documentations, material information, field survey files, documents related to project files
  • Support post-construction meetings to gain a greater understanding of project involvement and reviews field documentation (weld maps, inspector dailies, redlines, PCMR’s, hydrotest documentation, etc.), review the completion of the project documentation
  • Comply to Client standards and (CFR) 49, sub-part O
  • Verifies test/design pressures, material specifications, and high-pressure construction material specifications relative to wall, grade, class, rating, etc
  • Review and markup red-lined construction documentation and/or final documentation for accuracy in pursuit of final upload to the Client high pressure pipeline documentation system
  • Compiles and submits Bundle A construction documentation to Design Drafting ensuring documentation is complete and conforms with Client material traceability and high pressure, life of asset documentation requirements
  • Review all documents have been examined and verified-ready for Bundle B
  • Collaborates with Gas/Electric Engineering or Client in adding high pressure construction material to Design Data Sheets (DDS) if/when project manager did not request prior to construction
  • Prepares high pressure material workbooks from a construction standpoint to capture material installed, junked/scrapped, returned
  • Utilizes SAP to generate cost reports with help from Client
  • Coordinate with vendors/manufacturers to obtain material test reports (MTRs)
  • Review purchase orders and material test reports are in compliance with Client material traceability requirements
  • Prepares Gas/Electric Engineering documentation in support of requesting drawing numbers, valve numbers, and pipeline names
  • Communicates and coordinates with engineering firms and third-party vendors
  • Prepares, updates, and maintains Microsoft Excel workbooks in order to track/log reconciliation status under stringent timeline
  • Support with internal data requests requiring extensive research and the ability to prepare responses in a clear, thorough and concise manner
  • Keeps informed of new policy and procedural developments relative to pipeline construction policies/procedures

  • Must be detail orientated individual
  • Must be a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds; must be detail-oriented and highly organized; and must be able to produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a customer-service attitude.
