Department Library Position Number 916000 Requisition Number 062471 Position Type Federal Work Study Full Time/Part Time Part-Time Time-limited through Hours 10 to 20 hours per week Hourly Rate $10.00 Job Summary/ResponsibilitiesProvide UNF affiliates access to information resources at the Thomas G. Carpenter Library by performing various functions such as the following:

• Staff service desks;
• Assist patrons in accessing materials online;
• Answer general questions via phone, email, chat, and at service desks;
• Scan and shelve library materials;
• Assist with shifting and collection maintenance;
• Assist with library events;
• Additional tasks as assigned;
• Position may require lifting up to 30lbs.

Required QualificationsMust be a currently enrolled UNF student who is eligible for and accepts Federal Work Study (FWS) funding.
Must have received a Federal Work Study Award Letter for this current academic year.Preferred Qualifications

• Basic communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Basic library skills
• Available work ten to twenty hours per week.
