Starting Pay Rate: $14.00/hour

Position Summary:
Complete production work related to recycling line and/or garbage compactor, Ewaste, and baler. Adhere to safety and training guidelines in warehouse environment. Assist truck drivers and forklift operators as needed.

Essential Functions: **

  • Sort recycling
  • Operate the baler
  • Operate the trash compactor
  • Disassemble Ewaste
  • Load/unload trucks
  • Safely operate equipment as directed and authorized
  • Meet daily production goals
  • Handle products with care
  • Follow safety and security procedures
  • Dust, clean and maintain work area and surrounding workspace

Basic Requirements:
Must be able to follow basic instructions. Applicants should be at least 18 years of age or older. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb, reach, grasp and lift 40 lbs. Must have visual acuity to determine accuracy of work assigned or make general observations of facilities or structures.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to understand verbal and/or written instruction regarding job duties and safety procedures
  • Ability to run equipment as directed and authorized
  • Ability to carry, lift, push or pull 40 pounds
  • Ability to follow safety and security standards
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to tolerate variations in work environment temperature
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Effective communication and basic math skills
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a dependent adult and child abuse background check
