We are seeking a Bookkeeper proficient with accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), reconciliations, payroll and general ledger.

Job Duties include but not limited to:

  • Accounts Payable - coding vendor invoices and matching invoices with packing slips. Research and resolve vendor invoice and payment issues. Reconcile A/P statements. Other A/P related duties as needed.
  • Accounts Receivable - process incoming customer payments. Perform day to day A/R transactions. Resolve collection issues. Process A/R statements monthly.
  • Credit Card Reconciliation – enter credit card transactions in Lightspeed, post to appropriate accounts. Reconcile credit card accounts at month end.
  • Expense Report Reconciliations – download expense reports, post data to appropriate accounts.
  • Assist with Payroll - weekly calculate hours from timecards for each employee, update weekly spread sheet
  • Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as needed basis
  • Other Projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • Proficient skills in MS Office - Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Experience Accounting software programs - Lightspeed EVO a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills'
