Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager Position We are looking for someone who has a passion for real estate and real estate investing – (think Chip and Joann) type of business – we buy old homes and make them beautiful. If you want to be part of a fast pace exciting real estate business this position is for you. We can teach the real estate portion – the accounting skills are non-negotiable and will require an interview with our CPA partners. Duties and Responsibilities · Accounts payables including job cost postings · Preparation of weekly check runs · Preparation of waivers of lien · Monthly reconciliation of bank, credit card, and lender statements · Recording of all property purchase and sales · Calculation and allocation of overhead costs to jobs · Organization and maintenance of all paper and electronic files · Collaborates with partners and project managers to support overall goals and objectives · Preform other accounting, financial or administrative tasks as needed including the main conduit for information between the company and our accounting partner. · Manage the office, files, blue prints and various construction related paperwork. Skills and Specifications · 3-5 years previous work experience in a fast-paced accounting environment · Proficient in QuickBooks & Microsoft productivity software such as Excel · Knowledge of commonly used accounting principles and practices · Must be highly analytical and able to identify, research, and resolve problems in a timely manner · Ability to work independently and apply good judgment, excellent problem-solving skills, analytical and organizational skills, with a strong attention to details. · Must have Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, that can demonstrate trustworthiness and discretion in handling confidential and highly sensitive information. · Construction, real-estate or property management experience a big plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Schedule: COVID-19 considerations: Education: Experience: This Job Is: Company's website: Work Remotely: COVID-19 Precaution(s):
4th Dimension Development is a real estate development and construction company located in Ferndale, Michigan
Construction Bookkeeper/Office Manager to provide project accounting support and services to management team members. This is a full time – 35 to 40 hour a week position. The accounting will take about 15 hours per week and the balance is general office management activities. The primary job is accounting and Quick Books with the rest of the time filled with general office tasks as well as mail, budgets, spreadsheet and time line management. We can be flexible with our hours and there is some opportunity to work remotely in the future.
