Well-Established CPA Firm in need of Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist. Base Salary $40k plus excellent benefits. Shift is M-F 8:30am -5:00pm
Position Summary: The purpose of the position is to provide support to the Firm by managing the front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks within the accounting firm. This position reports to the Office Manager.
Essential Skills, Education and Experience:
ยท High school diploma
- Knowledge of administrative/clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
- Superior Microsoft Office skills especially Microsoft Word
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Extensive knowledge using office equipment
- Professional, friendly demeanor with superior customer service skills
- Proven ability to form professional relationships and gain trust at all levels of the organization
- Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills and ability to handle a fast-paced environment
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties; such as filing, screening and answering incoming phone calls, distributing correspondence, scanning, and faxing documents
- Manage inventory of office supplies, maintain office equipment and keep conference room calendar
- Assist with keeping kitchen clean and organized, maintain menus and order food during tax season and for meetings as needed
- Prepare packages and maintain Fedex account address book
- Distribute US mail mail and packages to staff and EOB drop off
- Word processing (letters, standardize letters/forms, mailmerge)
- Maintain Client file room (individual and business folders)
- Special projects such as assisting with the tax deadline and data entry as needed
- Participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
