We are a very busy dog daycare and boarding facility looking for a Front Desk Associate with a proven track record of excellent customer service skills and someone who is passionate about all dogs.

This position requires constant interaction with customers involving administrative procedures such as enrollment, evaluation, interpretation, scheduling, reservations and upselling of services.

Experience Requirements:

  • Customer service skills - face to face, telephone and email.
  • High School degree or equivalent GED required.
  • Must demonstrate a sincere concern for the care of animals and their relationships with their owners.
  • Must be able to multi-task during high volume times and be able to properly prioritize workload.
  • Must be personable, professional, patient and adaptable.
  • Comfortable around all dog sizes and temperaments.
  • Work schedule includes weekends, nights and holidays.
  • Punctuality is required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Fast learner who is also friendly and motivated.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome all customers and campers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Regularly demonstrate sincere concern for the care, attitudes, and behaviors of pets and their parents.
  • Recognize and perform specific care needs as communicated by the pet guardian and in accordance with company policy and procedures, ensuring the safety of each dog.
  • Answer multi-line phone system and provide timely, accurate and appropriate services.
  • Collect and process payments
  • Create and maintain customer records.
  • Be able to operate office equipment as well as computer software and applications.
  • Update vaccination records accurately.
  • Complete camper medication cards and communicate the dogs needs with the entire team.
  • Discuss behavior observations with pet parents at pick-up.
  • Ensure all dog belongings are with the appropriate dog and returned at pick up (cleaned if need be)
  • Follow proper closing procedures
  • Ensure facility cleanliness at all times.

This job pays hourly plus tips after training is complete. Eligible employees will be offered health insurance benefits after 30 days. Hours per week will be between 28 and 38 and you must be available to work Monday through Sunday.
