What Will I Be Doing? :
You are the face that every guest sees when first entering the hotel. You get to be the welcoming and friendly person to ensure guests have a smooth process of checking in and checking out of the resort, as well as helping answer questions and help to create the lifetime memories making it an amazing experience throughout their stay with us. You are also responsible for reporting room issues into the work order system and answering incoming calls from guests and other departments. This is a multi-taskers dream as you manage multiple things while you check guests in and get to know them. You get the chance to WOW the guests every day and truly creating lifetime memories. Throughout your time, you share and develop your knowledge of hotel, 30A, and community happenings.

What Experience is Needed to Be Successful? :
It is best to have a high school diploma or equivalent for this position as it requires computer skills, critical thinking and problem solving abilities. With the high amount of guest service, it is a requirement to have customer service experience requiring verbal and written communication skills.

What are the Physical Requirements of the Job? :
Because this position is the representative of the hotel, you must be able to stand continually throughout shift; guide guests, and assist with luggage storage. You must be able to bend, kneel, crouch and sometimes reach overhead during your shift. Lifting or carrying heavy items is typically not required.
