FPI Level II - Reader, 3rd shift

JOB SUMMARY:
Set up and calibrate equipment. Conduct tests, interpret, evaluate and document data in accordance with codes, standards and other contractual documents.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
- Review PEIs for instructions.
- Set up and calibrate equipment such as FPI processing line, PSM-5 panels and black lights.
- Conduct tests, interpret, evaluate and document data in accordance with codes, standards and other contractual documents.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience: FPI level 1 experience
- Certifications/Licenses: Penetrant Level 1 Certification
- - Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Read. Write legibly. Basic math skills. Good written communication skills. Good verbal communication skills. Good problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal skills. Detail orientation.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Working Environment: Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in
- Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant. Rubber gloves.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per department
- Steel toe shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant.
