Assist Dir of Events with coordination of all BHSF fundraising events. Responsible for coord of Foundation fundraising, cultivation and recognition event. The Coordinator will develop and maintain targeted event invitation and attendee lists. The Coordinators responsible for setting up new vendors if nec, process contracts, and POs. Will coord silent auctions. Collaborates with Dir of Events to negotiate contracts including hotel, catering, event service, rental equipment, etc. The Coordinator must thrive in a challenging and fast passed atmosphere where prioritizing and multi-tasking are the norm. Exceptional atten to detail and first class organizational skills are mand. This dynamic position will report to the Dir of Events and work in a team envir to produce events, meetings and additional projects as req. Assist special events team in preparing RSVP list and managing RSVP list and register at events as needed. Work with Dir. Of Events to build relationship with vendor, committee members and sponsors. Work with volunteer to ensure event run smoothly. Works with staff, volunteers and hired crews as needed for events. Perform follow-up on each event, including delivery, pick up of items and thank you letters to vendors and event hosts. Works nights and weekends as needed to complete assignments.Qualifications:
High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED or equivalent training or experience required. Minimum 2 years of experience. Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and attentive to fine details. A high volume performer. Competence in computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook). Excellent written and verbal skills. Professional demeanor, pleasant personality, service, goal and detail oriented. Extensive customer service skills, a high level of professionalism and willingness to handle all planning and administrative details of meetings and events.
