Luke’s is a Maine inspired fast-casual lobster shack, known for its seafood rolls and commitment to sustainable ingredients. We are currently hiring Teammates for our SOMA location. We are a founder-driven organization with a fun, supportive atmosphere, but we take our food and guest service seriously.

Teammate duties include.

  • Preparing and serving a simple, seafood-centric menu (there’s no cooking but some minor food prep)
  • Engaged guest interaction and frequent table-touches
  • Taking orders, recommending products, and creative merchandising at the register
  • Opening and closing duties including cleaning (sweeping, mopping, light dishes, setting up for AM/PM shift)
  • Exceptional attention to cleanliness and organization
  • Communicating Luke's mission of serving sustainable, traceable seafood

The Luke's Lobster Story

Luke’s Lobster was born out of the dream of Maine native and third-generation lobsterman Luke Holden to bring the quality, affordable lobster rolls of his youth to the big city. After meeting business partner Ben Conniff on Craigslist, the two twenty-somethings opened their first lobster shack in a 250 square foot space in NYC’s East Village in October 2009.
