Summary Responsible for the seating of customers and taking reservations. Job Duties Main duties include greeting customers as they arrive at the facility and thank them for their patronage upon departure. Host will be required to make decisions about where large groups of customers will sit in the restaurant. The host directs and instructs the dining room personnel on customer needs to ensure customers receive fast and quality service from the moment they arrive. Should a party have special needs or request accommodations, the host ensures the group's requirements are met. This may include services needed for small children, as well as for individuals with disabilities or food allergies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively with others; understands and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations.
