FOH Manager/Assistant GM Details

New modern/chic gastropub is seeking an experienced Front of House (FOH) Manager/Assistant General Manager to head up our dining room operations. We are seeking a manager that has the customer service skills, experience and personality to ensure a memorable experience for our guests, every time. The ideal candidate will have experience in opening new restaurants and help create, implement and execute systems that will set us up for long term success. We are looking for a leader who will establish a set of standards that are followed, without exception.

Duties will include:

* Staffing, training and executing our standards to all FOH staff

* Direct, hand to hand guest service (table touching)

* Handle all guest complaints professionally and appropriately

* Overseeing all opening and closing duties of FOH staff

* Ensuring that all measures of cleanliness and hygiene are followed

* Cash handling and daily staff check outs

* Providing sound and stable leadership to our entire FOH staff

* Work closely with Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager to ensure that FOH staff is properly trained on menu items, specials, ingredients, etc

* Conduct regular staff meetings to lead and motivate staff

* Willingness to learn and perform all aspects of the restaurants day to day operations

* Be a good teammate by working well with staff, Executive Chef, and ownership

We are looking for a serious restaurant professional with at least 5 years of management experience in a fast paced, high volume environment. Experience with opening new restaurants and a proven track record is required.

Salary is negotiable and based on experience and skill

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
