Codale Electric Supply Fleet and Building Maintenance Specialist is responsible for overseeing and maintaining our fleet and buildings companywide across our 14+ Branches. Also, will work with Management Team to ensure that preventative maintenance is done and that repairs are taken care of in a timely manner. Ultimately keeping the Fleet and Buildings running as efficient as possible. They are also a DOT Expert for the company. Being fluent in DOT Laws for Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and Utah and maintaining overall Driver and DOT Fitness. They will also work to maintain a constant environment of safety and productivity with all actions fleet and building maintenance related.
- Maintain, review and renew all building service contracts
- Work with Local Management and Cleaning Crews to facilitate Cleaning and Building Maintenance on their respective Buildings.
- Work with Management on Landscaping needs for the Buildings and implement timely service.
- Works with Landlords on repairs and site visits as necessary.
- Oversees the Repairs and Maintenance that takes place within our Buildings.
- Maintains the upmost quality and care for the upkeep and maintenance of all our facilities.
- Facilitate building inspections (Fire pump, extinguishers, etc.)
- Works with Management Team to implement new Branches as needed.
- Work with Local Management to facilitate Preventative Maintenance and repairs at each of our Branches.
- Maintain good working relationships with Suppliers and repair shops throughout our territory.
- Review aging Fleet and determine needs for replacements.
- Facilitate Rentals when needed for Delivery Trucks.
- Collaborate with Risk Management Team for Safety Programs, Training, Policies and Accident Prevention/Case Management.
- Monitor DOT Performance Monthly via FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and take corrective action when needed.
- Review and Renew all Registration requirements and applicable Fleet Taxes (IFTA).
- Citation/Fine resolution and or mitigation.
- Driver Qualification Files - Hours of Service and ELD. Making sure driver files are up to date and correct to ensure DOT compliance.
- Driver Safety root cause analysis.
- Fleet Safety Software Management (GPS, Cameras, ect.)
- Review and maintain truck checkoffs to ensure issues are being taken care of in a timely manner.
- Occasional Travel to outlying Branches to assess health of vehicles and movement of Fleet as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. (Or equivalent experince)
- 3-5 years’ experience of Commercial Fleet Management.
- Experience in Building Maintenance Preferred.
- Experience in Telematics Software In-Dash Cameras is Preferred.
- DOT Medical Certificate and Clean Driving Record.
