Requisition ID req15916 The UNM Cashier/Bursar's Office has a unique opportunity for the chosen applicant(s) to act in a hybrid capacity and seamlessly transition between both the Cashier's Department and Bursar's Office. When guided by management, the Fiscal Services Tech(s) will perform multiple functions to create a well-rounded customer experience. Individual(s) selected for this position will be responsible for the processing of high-volume cash item transactions, as well as performing service support for customers and handling service requests through resolution. Fiscal Services Tech(s) will also be responsible for various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of an operating unit, to include posting entries, verifying and reconciling input to UNM's general ledger, processing payments, and/or assisting in preparation of billings and other financial reports; responding to inquiries and contacts other departments and/or vendors to resolve a variety of problems, and will assist in the performance of account review/analysis for customers of the Bursar's Office. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
