Responsibilities: Candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team. Candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills and the ability to multi-task and handle tight deadlines. Primary Accountabilities:

  • Work with the Vertical Business unit to prepare, analyze, and validate the monthly forecast, including providing commentary and variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation and communication of monthly/quarterly reporting requirements, including variance commentary to the President of the vertical Business units.
  • Work with the Vertical Business unit to prepare the annual operating plan.
  • Analyze and report out to the commercial and operations teams around Price/Volume/Mix.
  • Analyze, report, maintain, and drive improvement in actual SKU profitability reporting; develop annual budgeted SKU profitability analysis.
  • Create meaningful and insightful ad hoc and recurring monthly reports
  • Provide financial support to the Vertical President, Director of Operations, and Finance Managers for the vertical to which they are assigned (forecast, budget, etc.)
  • Perform special project assignments.
  • Serve as SAP/BI and HFM super-user.

  • Strong Excel, SAP, and Hyperion Financial Management skills
  • Ability to maintain a consistently high level of attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing controls and cost accounting/general accounting
  • Ability to ensure that yours as well as others’ work and information are complete and accurate
  • Ability to utilize available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred, MBA a plus.
  • CPA or CMA certification a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) as well as SAP Business Intelligence and Hyperion/HFM.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and data-manipulation skills.
  • Effective communication skills – both interpersonal and written.
