Job Summary

The Finance Manager will have a direct reporting relationship to the Sr. Director of Finance. He/she will be responsible for a portion of our operations in senior living, a very high growth region, and will act as the financial liaison for our clients and operational leadership. The Manager will be expected to analyze and project all aspects of Morrison Living's financial performance at the business unit level, including preparing monthly analyses of actual results vs. plan, providing on-going budgeting and forecasting support, and assisting in ad-hoc analytics upon request from our clients or operational leadership, among other things. This role will have high visibility and the ability to travel and visit clients as needed is required. This traveling position can be based out of Miami, Phoenix, San Antonio.

Essential Functions and Tasks
  • Collaborate with the President and Vice Presidents of Operations on all financial aspects of the business to help strengthen current business in the region
  • Assist field operations and team of Financial Analysts with monthly financial results and reporting
  • Develop facility level budgets and forecasts on both the Morrison Living and Client side
  • Learn and understand client contracts to apply them to financial outcomes and opportunities
  • Prepare monthly reports and related analytics for Morrison Living and Client
  • Prepare/review financial tracking tools used at the facilities to align with contractual requirements
  • Provide on-site financial support as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a financial analyst or related industry role
Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills required, detail orientation, critical thinking (using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions, conclusions or approaches to issues)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
