Finance brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo's financial management, including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance, asset-liability management, treasury, tax management, and the company's investment portfolios. They also inform shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines.

Strategic partnership with Technology partners to interpret and advise on all financial analysis and reporting of key financial metrics related to business performance, including operating and strategic reviews. Understand the overarching strategic direction while working closely with our partners on Budget, Forecast, Month-end close, etc. Ensuring business drivers are accurately reflected in the financial forecasts. Promote and drive objectives of the Technology Finance organization. Identify opportunities to improve methodologies and processes for delivering financial analysis in support of management decision-making for Technology leadership.

Finance Consultant – WIM Marketing
WIM Finance is seeking an experienced finance consultant to provide comprehensive financial management for the Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Staff and Operations groups. The incumbent will be the primary finance support for WIM Marketing and may provide financial support for other WIM lines of business. Responsibilities include:

  • Perform the financial planning and analysis activities including: financial forecasts, variance analyses, management reporting, key metrics reporting
  • Provide expense analysis in terms of relevant business drivers pertaining to WIM Marketing
  • Present financial results and associated analysis to senior management
  • Prepare presentation materials on behalf of senior management
  • Perform finance operations activities including billing, receivables, and payments as needed
  • Provide financial support for CCAR and RRP deliverables for WIM Marketing
  • Implement and monitor financial controls including support for Reg. W compliance
  • Develop and maintain outbound expense allocation methodology and explain allocated costs to receiving partners.
  • Lead partnership with the Finance Centers of Excellence (COEs) and LOB Finance while continuing advancement toward the Finance target operating model

Required Qualifications


  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting

  • Wealth or investment management experience

  • Advanced analytical skills and knowledge of financial and economic concepts with the ability to apply them to a diverse mix of business situations
  • Expertise in financial modeling, and MS Excel
  • Proficient in data manipulation and data analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of Wells Fargo’s financial reporting and research tools including Essbase, IRIS and GL tools
  • Proven ability to independently lead ad hoc financial projects from concept to completion including identifying and garnering the appropriate resources and data
  • Strong ability to establish effective working relationships and partner across the organization at all levels
  • Effective communicator and presenter
