Infrastructure and Production Management (IPM) Technology Finance & Business Management supports the IPM Technology leadership team, leading the following objectives: Financial Tracking and Reporting, Requisition Management, Vendor Management, Resource Forecasting, Cost Saves Initiatives, Department Budgeting, Reporting, and Ad Hoc Requests.

The department is in need of a Finance and Business Management Lead. This position is responsible for working across the team developing and generating reports and presentations, tracking operations initiatives, and working with support partners of the organization (Accounting, finance, quality assurance, project management, Vendor Management, etc.) to improve and drive business decisions. This position will be key in developing the long term location and real estate strategy for the organization, driving cost saves and ensuring adequate controls and efficiencies exist with vendor partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop collaborative working relationships across CTO, CTO -1, Finance, CCB Shared Services (e.g. demand management) while providing business value and transparency
  • Provide resource management communications, planning/forecasting guidance and coordination for core business requirements
  • Partner with BMO Leads to drive consistent business management practices, development of KPI's, setting logical key performance measures and reporting driving towards continuous improvement in accuracy and control
  • Understand financial reviews and be able to correlate profit/loss impact to process improvements
  • Support resource planning working with BMO Leads and Finance to establish best practices and support the strategic agenda for recruiting and workforce management
  • Assist in the development of senior management presentations focused on vendor and resource management
  • Lead the Chase Location Strategy (CLS) process for Infrastructure Production Management Technology
  • Facilitate CTO-level, proactive monitoring of headcount, budget, financials to highlight variances and reforecast plans to stay on target
  • Foster productive teamwork, establishing open and trusting relationships, creating a climate where people are committed to sharing information
  • This role is meant to be a change agent leadership role, creating innovative ways to help senior management run and execute strategic priorities.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong project management, planning, inter-personal skills including strong oral and written communication, negotiation skills, and business influence and management knowledge.
  • The candidate must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and have a passion to drive improvement in our client focus and ability to deliver results.
  • Key partner with the various Enterprise Technology and LOB Tech Finance & Business Manager Lead teams to provide transparency and insight to technology expenses, risks & opportunities, run rate analysis, efficiency programs, and resource strategy agenda
  • Drive enhancement to current processes to deliver a more strategic and efficient way of working. Eliminate manual intervention of data flow by developing automated solutions.
  • Work with technology leaders to develop new ways of reporting data that enables strategic decision making.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience with an emphasis on business/ Data analysis
  • Financial services industry experience preferred
  • 3+ years of managerial experience
  • Bachelors or Masters in Business Management/ Finance/ Economics/ Analytics
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate and develop new concepts, processes and value added activities
  • Process-oriented with strong organization, problem solving, time management and analytical skills
  • Exposure to IT development/software development lifecycle a plus
  • Must be able to design business reporting and analysis that is clear, concise and actionable
  • Ability to work effectively with other lines of business, finance teams and technology partners
  • Demonstrated history of independently and proactively driving initiatives forward
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding PC skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Clarity, Hyperion Essbase, SAP)
  • Experience with Business applications (Tableau)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - proven ability to produce quality results timely
  • Excellent issue resolution skills
  • Ability to multi task and deliver against tight deadlines.
