The Department

This position is part of the Regional Shared Services Center where the team is focused on providing accounting and finance functions for global business lines and preparing financial reports.

Your Role

The Finance Business Analyst will be responsible for analytics on employee expense spend including policy violations, corporate card misuse, fraud identification, and dashboard reporting for senior leadership. This role will also be responsible for the administration of the Invesco purchasing card program.

This global position will be supporting internal clients across the organization and will focus on identifying and preventing fraud and misuse of company assets.

You will be responsible for:

  • Handling all aspects of the Oversight System Analytics Tool including working exceptions, highlighting anomalies, recommending new areas of focus and potential policy changes, and escalating findings
  • Coordinating with Internal Audit, Privacy and Security teams on expense compliance monitoring and implementation of enhanced controls
  • Administering the purchasing card program, including administration of cards and bank system, reporting and monitoring for fraud
  • Liaising with Invesco’s bank handling the purchasing card program
  • Supports configuration and testing of Finance applications (including Concur Expense) as part of upgrades or system enhancements to validate alignment with designed controls and business processes
  • Supporting Concur reporting to support management reporting
  • Developing, documenting, and maintaining department policies and procedures
  • Reporting pertinent information to senior leadership
  • Performing ad hoc analysis and tasks as required by finance department managers

The experience you bring:

  • Experience with Oracle, Concur, Oversight, and Tableau preferred
  • Global corporate card and purchasing card program knowledge preferred
  • Forensic data analysis and knowledge of global T&E data preferred
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency
  • Ability to learn/understand configurations of Finance applications to support business processes
  • Knowledge of SOX requirements
  • Experience working in a shared service center supporting global operations is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in reviewing data and identifying trends
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a variety of individuals
  • Maintaining confidentiality is critical
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to utilize computer equipment and software effectively
  • Ability to cooperate in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field; Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business degree strongly preferred
  • Candidacy for Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
