Our learning practices are evolving as we are facing a dynamic marketplace, and the Zillow Offers Learning & Development Team is responsible for executing the day-to-day strategy that supports the analysis, development, quality, and execution of training programs to support Zillow Offers business initiatives and goals.About the role The Zillow Offers (ZO) team is seeking a Trainer to deliver training for Field Operations Training Programs! The role supports training for new market openings, new business initiatives and ongoing education. In this role, you will: Deliver assigned and approved training content through various methods such as in-person learning, virtual learning, one-on-one training, and on the job training for small to larger groups of participants as needed Work closely with Instructional Designers and Learning Managers on the L&D Team to facilitate various training programs Ensure quality execution of all national field training programs and initiatives Supports Field Operations Leaders in the delivery of training, when necessary Partners closely with the ZO Learning & Development team to ensure content for training material aligns with current business standards and processes Partner with Subject Matter Experts and Instructional Designers to write training content for eLearning, videos, classroom training, and self-guided content Conduct assigned needs analysis activities for new learning projects Lead and facilitate focus groups to identify training needs for assigned learning projects Responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest policies + procedural changes that are happening in the business to ensure minimal gaps in training for Field Ops employees Be involved in testing, scoping and planning for any new roll outs for the field to ensure training needs are identified and met ahead of time Inspire, motivate, coach, and educate through engaging facilitation in both classroom and on-the-job learning experiences This role has been categorized as a Field position. “Field” employees perform the majority of their work in the field, not at any specific corporate or other office location. Employees must live within reasonable commuting distance of their designated ZG office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute. Bachelor’s Degree in business, instructional design, human resources, or related field. 2+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced, agile business in the L&D capacity Experience in supporting training programs is preferred Experience in guiding new concepts and explaining processes and procedures Must have strong presence in front of a group, and comfortable in both virtual and in-person learning environments. Very strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to flex your communication style based upon your audience This role requires presentation of Zillow Offers materials and standards with professional tradespeople Ability to be very agile and embrace changing business needs and challenges A go-getter attitude and a strong level of proactivity to get things done A passion for training and teaching others Ability to adapt to the demands of residential construction/renovation, including flexible scheduling Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including the ability to work both indoors and outdoors, and the ability to spend considerable time standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, and squatting, and ability to traverse all types of terrain Able to travel domestic 25-50% Zillow Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative environment with the best employees.
