Information Technology Description Position Summary:
The IT Field Service Technician III provides support to end users in response to user generated tickets in a prompt and timely manner. Maintains and administers the computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Understands commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the maintenance of the computer systems. Technology includes computers, printers, a variety of audio, visual equipment, telecommunications, networking equipment, and applications. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, prioritization skills, problem-solving skills, an attention to details and a high degree of technical aptitude. This position utilizes one-on-one or remote assistance to end users. The Field Service Technician II should be a self-directed and highly motivated learner who is aware of technology trends and has the desire for continuous learning.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot computer hardware and applications
- Rotating assignment to on-call roster
- Daily work on-site, with assigned shift in a lab environment
- Manage and resolve tickets assigned via ITSM
- Support lab environment to include all hardware and applications
- Assist with GMP support
- Works collaboratively within the IT Team and other project teams to achieve team goals and outcomes. Mentor other team members in areas of personal expertise.
- Provides measurable customer service for IT Team. Ability to prioritize request from multiple sources and meet customer requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Requires the ability to work with professionals and maintain confidentiality standards.
- Advanced knowledge of desktop operating systems and hardware
- Understand Active Directory core concepts (groups, OU’s, home drives, and mapped drives)
- Understand enterprise network concepts and troubleshooting concepts
- Project management experience
- Microsoft 365 and Azure experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- 5 years working in corporate end user support.
- Conditions of Employment: Individual must successfully complete pre-employment process, which includes criminal background check, drug screening and reference verification. - A+, Network+ preferred
- Problem solving skills are strongly preferred.

Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, hand tools, and to handle other computer components.
- May have exposure to blood-borne pathogens, extreme temperatures, high noise levels, fumes and bio-hazardous material/chemicals including formalin in the lab environment.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. moving and handling computer equipment and peripherals.
