The FSE/IS Engineering Intern is capable of entry level of professional Engineering and applies engineering skill to solve less complex problems utilizing knowledge of company customers and markets. A basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and metallurgical process engineering is required. The position assists and supports customer process optimization activities and related value-added opportunities as directed and required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCECollege student; sophomore or above, with 3.0 GPA or greater that is pursuing the Mining, Metallurgical, and or Mechanical Engineering discipline and undergraduate degree. Fundamental mechanical aptitude, experience and understanding is desirable
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Ability to effectively present information to customers, peers and superiors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to comprehend and apply principles of calculus, modern algebra, and statistical theory.
